2016 - Sing! Ladies Choir

This year is proving to be very busy for us.

In March Sing! hosted an afternoon tea in aid of the Epilepsy Society.

We raised a wonderful £500 and hope to add to that with our Christmas concert.

We also had the privilege of singing to the residents of Hadrian House in Thurmaston, Leicester. We sang some good old classics such as 'The White Cliffs Of Dover' and 'I Can't Help Falling In Love' which the residents loved. It all got a bit emotional!!

We hope to be going back for a Christmas sing-a-long in December.

We were asked to sing at a wedding reception in June as a surprise to the bride and groom (hopefully a nice surprise!) so we put some songs together including 'Make You Feel My Love', 'Stand By Me' and 'It Must Be Love'. It all went down well and we had a lovely afternoon.

Our next performance will be at the Fleckney Carnival on September 17th, then on October 1st we'll be joining Ensemble Theatre Company once again. This time it's a James Bond themed concert! We've been busy learning some of the famous (and not-so-famous) themes. 'We Have All The Time In The World', 'Nobody Does It Better', and 'All Time High' are some personal favourites!

On December 10th we will be holding our Christmas concert at St. Nicholas Church. This time we will be joining with the Fleckney Silver Band. I love Christmas, and doing a full concert means that we get to start in September.... Let It Snow!!!!
